The $10 balance for the trim is paid directly to Hollie Paws on the day.

Is this clinic right for your dog?
This clinic is for dogs only, and works best for dogs comfortable being handled for a quick trim. For everyone's safety, it is not suitable for:
- Dogs who need a muzzle for routine handling.
- Dogs typically nail-trimmed under sedation.
If a dog becomes unsafe to handle, a muzzle may be used for the rest of the trim. A short waiver is completed before the trim.

How do I book?
You can book three ways: online here on this page, in person at the store, or by calling us at 289-600-9498. Whichever you choose, the $5 booking fee holds your 15 minute spot and you will get an order confirmation as your proof of booking.
How much does it cost?
The nail trim is $15 in total. You pay a $5 booking fee to reserve your spot, which is non-refundable and tax included, and the remaining $10 is paid to Hollie on the day. She accepts card, tap, cash, and e-transfer.
A grinder finish is available for an extra $5, paid to Hollie on the day.
What is the grinder finish?
A grinder files the nails back closer to the quick, gradually, instead of the single snip of clippers, which gives a shorter, smoother finish. It is an optional $5 upgrade.
If your dog does better without clippers, Hollie may also use the grinder when it is the safer or more comfortable choice.
How long does the appointment take?
Each appointment is a 15 minute slot. The trim itself is quick, and you are in and out with tidy nails.

Yes. Please plan to stay in the store while your dog is trimmed. Arrive a few minutes early for your time so you are ready for your slot.
Is there anything to sign?
Yes, a short waiver is completed before the trim. We will send you the link in your reminder email a couple of days before the clinic, and filling it out ahead of time makes check in much faster.
How often do the clinics run?
The nail trim clinic runs one Sunday every month at Newcastle Pet Supply, with 28 spots each clinic. Spots are limited and tend to fill, so booking ahead is the best way to get the time you want.
