Raw goat milk or goat milk kefir?
Raw goat milk
Crosswind Farm Raw Goat Milk contains a single ingredient: goat milk. It is unpasteurized and is not the same product as cultured kefir. Choose it when you’re looking for a plain raw milk topper, and follow raw-food handling practices.
Fermented goat milk kefir
Crosswind’s kefir range includes unflavoured, pumpkin, blueberry, cranberry and banana. These are cultured goat milk products; the listed pumpkin, cranberry, banana and unflavoured recipes start with pasteurized milk before fermentation.
Goat milk and kefir are toppers, not complete meals. Neither is lactose-free by default; suitability depends on your pet’s tolerance and diet. Ask your veterinarian before adding dairy if your pet has a medical condition or food sensitivity.

Cindy and Kevin began building Crosswind Farm in Keene, Ontario, in 2006. Drawing on family farming experience and Kevin’s dairy background, they restored a nineteenth-century barn and welcomed their dairy goats in 2007.

How to serve goat milk & kefir
1. Keep frozen. Thaw in the fridge.
Keep the bottle frozen until needed, then thaw under refrigeration. Follow the bottle’s storage and use-after-thawing instructions.
2. Measure for your pet.
Use the feeding directions on your chosen recipe. Start with a small amount to check tolerance and account for toppers in your pet’s daily food intake.
3. Pour, serve and clean up.
Add to their usual food, refrigerate the remaining milk promptly, and wash bowls, hands and surfaces after handling. Keep fresh water available.
